The Patchwork Quilt Fallacy was formed by guitarist Karl Strauss and singer/pianist Shelah Kelso, they instantly gained critical acclaim in their local music scene of northeastern Pennsylvania by independently distributing and selling their music as well as performing throughout the region. They are now living in southern California and playing shows to promote their first full-length album, “(r) evolution”, which is available on iTunes, Amazon, and other on-line music retailers. “(r) evolution” has received an exceptional response comprised of rising download sales and heartfelt fan comments, stories and fan videos. Shelah Kelso is native to Arizona but spent all of her high school years in Burbank, CA. In addition to being a musician and songwriter, Kelso has worked as an actress on independent films such as “MOG” (2006). Guitarist and songwriter Karl Strauss is originally from Pennsylvania. He has a degree in music recording and has recorded almost all of The Patchwork Quilt Fallacy’s music. Additionally, Strauss has arranged and performed almost all the drum tracks for PQF’s studio recordings. Quincy, Illinois native Christopher Schnack is the drummer. He was in the LA band Lojic starting in 2008 before joining PQF.
