The Rainbow Swirl Patchwork Quilt This is a great beginners project in patchwork. It uses Template Set A from the perfect patchwork Template system, and colorful hand dyed cloth from Shades Textiles by Stacy Michell. The quilt uses 2 blocks in an alternate or checkerboard arrangement. The blocks use several basic patchwork concepts, and the real test is in making the 2 blocks finish to the exact same sizes due to the fact that they have different numbers of pieces. This project will perfect your quarter inch seam allowance! It is too lovely to be a beginners project, so it will inspire to you make many more projects.
